About the New England School of Homeopathy

The New England School of Homeopathy (NESH) was created in 1990 by Paul Herscu ND, MPH, DHANP and Amy Rothenberg ND, DHANP to translate homeopathic philosophy into the successful and predictable practice of medicine. Our goal is for practitioners of homeopathy to fulfill their potential role in health care to help people attain freedom from illness on the mental, emotional, and physical planes so they may better realize their highest aspirations. The homeopathic practice presented in these courses describes the novel and cohesive approach developed by Drs. Herscu and Rothenberg. It is deeply rooted within scientific traditions and their years of clinical experience which integrates well with established scientific and medical understanding. While our approach to homeopathy does not remove the past, it is uniquely informed by and centered within a 21st century medical model.

Develop Expertise in Homeopathy Two-Year ONLINE Course

This main course is designed for both for experienced practitioners as well as students new to homeopathy to meet you “where you are” in your individual learning process and help advance your studies and practice to the next level, enabling you to also enroll in Phase #3 Courses. It offers a deep-dive into all the fundamentals: presenting all of the basics from philosophy and case-taking to materia medica, repertory, case analysis and long-term follow-up care. And then proceeds quickly to more advanced concepts which help translate the elegant philosophy of homeopathy into a successful and enjoyable practice. We emphasize the Herscu method of Cycles and Segments which informs all aspects of practice. CEU available upon request.

About Cycles and Segments

Cycles & Segments as taught by NESH is a system dynamics approach to classical homeopathy, which informs all aspects of practice and allows for more efficient and focused case taking and analysis. It offers a practical way of organizing and analyzing information in the case histories we glean from patients as well as details which appear in our remedy descriptions and facilitates an integrated study of homeopathy without the cumbersome memorization of long lists of individual symptoms.
