New England School of Homeopathy

Seattle 2020-2021

This class is designed for experienced homeopaths as well as beginners. It is open to naturopathic, osteopathic, chiropractic and medical physicians, nurses, therapists, acupuncturists, veterinarians, all variety of medical school students, and serious lay people. We teach the basics from philosophy and case-taking to materia medica, repertory, case analysis and long-term follow-up care. We proceed to more advanced concepts which translate the elegant philosophy of homeopathy into successful and enjoyable practice. We emphasize the Herscu method of Cycles and Segments which informs all aspects of practice. Cycles and Segments is a tool which allows us to help our patients more efficiently and with better results; it enables us to focus case-taking and offers a practical way of organizing and analyzing information gathered. This approach allows for the satisfying study of materia medica which is deep and integrated without the cumbersome memorization of long lists of disparate symptoms. Drs. Paul Herscu ND, MPH and Amy Rothenberg ND are 1986 graduates of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (now NUNM) and well-known authors, lecturers and original thinkers in this field, and are the sole instructors. They have taught the art & science of homeopathy to 1000’s of practitioners in the US & abroad for over 35 years.

Case Based On-line Courses: 2020-2021

COVID-19 has led us to think creatively about how to continue to offer further education and community building for our NESH Alum. We are happy to offer Case Based On-line Courses for alum called, NESH: The First 30 Years! This series focuses on the day-to-day life and practice of the classical homeopath. Specifically, we dive into details on the processes the homeopath undertakes while exploring what works and what does not work with patient encounters, using paper cases to illustrate specific points and refine our technique. We are particularly excited as 2020 celebrates NESH's 30th Anniversary and this series allows us to review and deepen our understanding and application of all the work we've done together throughout the years. Participation in this course gives you access to our Private NESH Alumni Facebook Group, open only to those NESH alum who have attended a Clinical Class weekend or repeated the Two Year Course. Each Session of this new course will meet for a total of 6 hours (in two 3 hour Parts). CEU available upon request.
